Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1st April 2026 · Revision No: 00

Anjani Putra Hospitals Private Limited (“Anjani Putra Hospitals”, “the Hospital”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of every patient, caregiver and visitor who interacts with us through our website www.anjaniputrahospitals.com (the “Website”), our mobile or web applications, our patient portals and our clinical and administrative processes. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws of India.

By using the Website or sharing your information with us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, the Hospital acts as a Data Fiduciary and you are the Data Principal.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Identity & contact data: name, age, gender, date of birth, address, email, mobile number, emergency contact, and Government ID details (such as Aadhaar, PAN or passport) where required for registration, admission or insurance.
  • Health data: medical history, symptoms, diagnoses, prescriptions, laboratory and imaging reports, treatment records and other clinical information. Health information is treated as high-risk personal data and is given a heightened level of protection.
  • Financial & transaction data: billing details, insurance and TPA information, and payment records. Card, UPI and net-banking credentials are captured and processed directly by our payment-gateway partners and are not stored on our servers.
  • Appointment & usage data: appointment bookings, teleconsultation records, health-check package selections, and orders placed through the Website.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and cookies or similar technologies used to operate and improve the Website.

2. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you (at registration, admission, appointment booking, online forms, feedback and enquiries), automatically when you browse the Website, and from authorised third parties such as referring doctors, diagnostic partners, insurers and TPAs, in each case on a lawful basis.

3. Notice and consent

At the point of collection, we provide a clear, plain-language notice describing the personal data we require and the purpose for which it will be used. Where the law requires consent, we obtain it separately for distinct purposes — for example, clinical care, insurance submission, third-party diagnostic sharing and research are treated as separate consents, each of which you can withdraw independently. For patients who are children, we obtain verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian before processing their data.

4. How we use your information

We use your information only for lawful, specified purposes, including to:

  • Register you, schedule appointments and deliver clinical care and follow-up;
  • Generate reports, process billing, and coordinate insurance and cashless claims;
  • Process online payments, orders, refunds and cancellations;
  • Communicate appointment reminders, results, service updates and, where you have opted in, health-awareness or promotional messages;
  • Respond to your enquiries, feedback and grievances;
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, accreditation (e.g. NABH) and record-retention obligations; and
  • Improve the safety, quality and performance of our services and Website.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary and, on a need-to-know basis, for example with: treating doctors and clinical staff; empanelled diagnostic, laboratory and pharmacy partners; insurers, TPAs and government health schemes for claims; payment gateways and banks for transactions; and IT, cloud and communication service providers who act as our data processors under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the vital interests of a patient in an emergency.

6. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including access controls, role-based permissions, encryption in transit, secure servers and audit logging — to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. While we take security seriously, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and you share information with us at your own discretion. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India as required under the DPDP Act.

7. Data retention

We retain personal and health data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required under applicable laws — including medical-record retention periods prescribed under the Clinical Establishments rules and NABH standards — after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights as a Data Principal

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access a summary of your personal data and how it is processed; request correction or updating of inaccurate data; request erasure where retention is no longer required; withdraw consent at any time; nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and file a grievance. To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer using the details below under point 12.

9. Cookies

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember preferences, and understand usage so we can improve the experience. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the Website may not function properly as a result.

10. Third-party links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites and encourage you to review their policies before sharing any information.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and material changes will be brought to your notice where required.
